Also know as Cats Tongue. These biscuits are sweet and crunchy.

Super easy and quick to make anyone make make these!



This recipe makes around 11

Ingredients:


A

40g Unsalted Butter softened

40g Caster Sugar


B

40g Egg White

1 tsp Vanilla Paste

1 tsp Lemon Juice – optional


C

35g Plain Flour

5g Cornflour

 

 

 


Notes:

  • Can substitute all of C for cake flour.

  • Can 1/2 dip these in chocolate once baked.

  • These biscuits are meant to be quite small…but I do make them bigger! So, if you want smaller ones cut a smaller hole into your piping bag



 

 

 

 

 

Method:

  • Pre heat oven to 180c

  • Cream A till pale in colour, then whisk in B until well incorporated.

  • Add in C and whisk till completely smooth.

  • Add the mixture into a piping bag and cut a medium hole.

  • Pipe onto a lined baking tray, about 1 finger long. Make sure you leave enough space in between each one, as they do spread a lot.




  • Bake for 13 minutes. The edges should be dark brown and the middle lightly golden.
